 Driving In The Snow

I decided that since it was still snowing and I had to pick up some stuff at the office, that I'd take the opportunity to drive in the snow and take some pictures. Here's my first parking brake turn of the night. You can see that I made a pretty good 90 degree turn from the tread marks.

Here's a better picture of the tread marks.

I managed a 180 after that. I like this picture b/c you can compare the path of the front wheels to that of the rear wheels.

This picture is good b/c you can see the two rear paths and how close they came, meaning the back of my car was moving almost sideways.

Just thought I'd take some pictures of the tires like they do in the Best Motoring videos.

The snow makes my all-season tread pattern stand out quite a bit. Good thing I've got nice deep treads!

Here's one of the best 180's that I did. I did a couple better ones but there were strange parked 18-wheelers in that lot so I didn't take pictures. Again you can see how all the wheels took different paths.

Here you can see how the car made a large part of it's turn at the very end, pivoting around the front left tire.
