Butterscotch Steel Cut Oatmeal

printable version (new window) | back to recipe list
Source: Alton Brown's Good Eats
Yield: 4 cups
Serving Size: 2 Cups
Servings: 2

I used to hate oatmeal, probably because the majority of my experiences were with instant, which turned me off from all other forms.

Then, I had Paradise Bakery's oatmeal, served in an oatmeal cookie bowl. It was delicious (I mean, it' served in a cookie bowl!) After that I realized that just maybe, there were other decent forms of oatmeal. That's when I discovered Irish style Steel Cut Oatmeal and my mind was changed forever.

This recipe is based on Alton Brown's recipe with a few tweaks.
