You can ignore the salt from driving through
the snow and focus on the horizontal scratches on the corner of my
right, rear bumper. I came out of the grocery store one day and noticed
it. I guess someone accidentally bumped my car while parking or something |

I got this ding about a year after the
other one. During this year, two people also dinged my car, WHILE
I WAS IN IT. One was by a middle aged man who didn't seem to care
at all. The second one was by a lady getting out of a cab in the middle
of the street during traffic hour and she wacked my car REALLY hard,
then grinned at me and ran off. I don't think she left any damage
though. |

I scratched my left rear wheel well when
driving in my Evanston apartment's (2000) parking lot. For some reason
there were a ton of illegally parked cars and I was trying to make
my way around a building support pole and through a small gap. I think
my car would have fit if I had been in the right angle, but I wasn't
and I couldn't get through. I thought that I had stopped before my
car touched the pole, but apparently I hadn't. There's some salt blotches
on the car, but the scratches are the very white horizontal scratches.

I got this ding quite a while ago and
was my first noticeable scar when my car was less than 2 years old.
And it wasn't just a dent, it also left a small white mark. It really
annoyed me. |
