I walked to my car this morning and found that my car
was broken into while parked on the steet near my apartment last night.

Luckily the only thing stolen was my cup of change,
which had, at the most $20. It's kind of annoying b/c the repair will
cost me around $330. |

Had he stolen some other stuff, I might have been able
to claim insurance ($500 deductible) and perhaps gotten some other
new stuff for my car, but nope. |

I have glass EVERYWHERE now. I'm gonna have to vacuum
it all up before I take it to the dealer tomorrow. |
|
|
|
I already called a local dealer and will have it fixed
with non-OEM glass tomorrow. |

Since it's been raining a lot, I made a temporary covering
of my window out of cardboard and a trash bag. |

Hopefully it will hold up. I wonder if thieves in general
don't target cars that have missing windows... I wonder if they think
it's already cleaned out or if they just think it's an easier target? |
