I walked to my car this morning and found that my car
was broken into while parked on the steet near my apartment last night.

| Luckily the only thing stolen was my cup of change,
which had, at the most $20. It's kind of annoying b/c the repair will
cost me around $330. |

| Had he stolen some other stuff, I might have been able
to claim insurance ($500 deductible) and perhaps gotten some other
new stuff for my car, but nope. |

| I have glass EVERYWHERE now. I'm gonna have to vacuum
it all up before I take it to the dealer tomorrow. |

| I already called a local dealer and will have it fixed
with non-OEM glass tomorrow. |

| Since it's been raining a lot, I made a temporary covering
of my window out of cardboard and a trash bag. |

| Hopefully it will hold up. I wonder if thieves in general
don't target cars that have missing windows... I wonder if they think
it's already cleaned out or if they just think it's an easier target? |
