In order to attach my camera to the outside of my car,
first thing I did was wrap the camera up in twine and foam padding.
This way most of the camera would be protected against debris and
vibration. |

Next, I mounted the padded camera inside a metal cage,
connected to a 2x4" which is then padded with more foam so it
won't scratch the car. |

To attach this new harness to my car, I purchased a
set of ratcheting tie-down straps. The harness is strapped to the
car by three straps... one on each end of the 2x4, and one down the
center around the cage. |
