On October 25, 2003 I attended
an informal road rally called The Lizard. It is a 200 mile scenic
drive through the back roads of northern Wisconsin. In one word, this
event was AMAZING. In two words, this event was FRIGGIN' AWESOME.
I used my Accord but everyone else had a Subaru (except one Mazda
Protege5). Most of those Subarus were WRXs (60 more HP than me) and
even a couple STi's (twice my HP) but I managed to hang in with them
despite having no airbags, no rear disc brakes, no ABS, no AWD and
no turbo. Thankfully, they were all very supportive and encouraging
of having one of those ricey VTEC Hondas following them. Thanks guys!
