Phil: Here's Cliff and I sporting some visors that Morisawa-sensei gave
us.
Poyao: There's a reason why i'm NOT in the picture.
Phil: The bike was free... I guess you gotta be thankful for what you
get!
Poyao: This one is actually my bike, but some BIG american dude wrestled
it away from me.
Phil: My bike was a little better. Albeit still quite small and a girl's
bike, it serves it purpose.
Poyao: Fil is trying to make it look faster than it actually is.
Phil: Warning children, do not try this at home. It is dangerous to take
pictures while you are biking. Just look at Poyao's face!
Poyao: This is my "I love sushi fish" face that i show to all
the Japanese people.
Phil: The new generation of virtual reality games was pioneered by all
time favorite Dance Dance Revolution where you don't play in a virtual
world, but your physical movements are actually turned into actions within
the game. In DDR, you dance on special pads that convert your steps into
key strokes. In this new hot game, ParaPara, you dance with your hands
and/or feet to trigger the key strokes.
Poyao: ParaPara was a huge phenom in our household except we had a videotape
and computer generated people to dance to. I just had to get a shot of
this. She was really good at it I might add.
Phil: Japan loves these new virual dancing/music/rhythm games. Here is
a game where you have to hit up to 8 different buttons at the same time
according to the colored bars on the screen. This game gets quite crazy
and this young girl was amazingly good.
Poyao: This thing was crazy eye-hand-brain coordination that I could never
do. She was also very good.
Phil: As we were biking, we found amongst the small modern buildings an
even smaller traditional house so we decided to snap a shot.
Poyao: Correction, I FOUND IT, and decided to take a snapshot of this
nice traditional Japanese house.
