So a few weeks ago I posted about 1000 Year Old Eggs or Pi-Dan. I was chatting with someone about how they were on Fear Factor and I did a Google search stumbled upon this blog that talks about them. Quite amusing. The replies are quite amusing as well, though I have to say that some people totally over-react to them. They're SO TASTY. Also, here's a blog about Pi-Dan Zhou (Congee/Rice Porridge w/ pork). I think I'm going to buy some tonight. Oh yeah, and the obligatory Wikipedia entry for century eggs.

No...
You managed to introduce me to eat sushi. For that, I thank you. But no, I won't eat that.

At least it's not the korean eggs... which are fertilized... meaning there's actually a half-mature fetus in the egg when you crack it open...

Korean fertilized egg...
Picard would've eaten it in a heartbeat (after a little Cardassian torture, of course).
