Japan 10/31/2007 - Sweets Forest in Jiyugaoka

To get to the Sweets Forest, take the Toyoko Minato Mirai Line to Jiyugaoka. Exit out of the south entrance and turn left to head east. You will be on a cobblestone sidewalk and you will see a Sweets Forest sign on top of the building at the end (left). Turn right then make a left at the next street and you should see another sign (center). Pass this first sign until you find a second sign. The bottom floor has a nice cooking supply store. Upstairs is the Sweets Forest as well as Spoon Bread Cafe, which specializes in popovers (right). There is also Origines de Cacao which has gourmet chocolates. I picked up a few snacks there, but only took pictures of the Cremieux on 11/03. |

The delicious Ice Cream. The butter solidified on the bottom and was so good I had to scrape it up and eat it. |

A very tasty Passion Fruit souffle, but awefully expensive at about ¥1000 |
